Explorer of personal and social consciousness, Designer of possibility, Researcher across borders and meanings Working in parallel times and multiple places, being on a trajectory from Massachusetts to Dayton to Toronto, stretched out over half a lifetime. What else could I be doing? This is my purpose, and I love the variety and challenge. As a New Englander and then Midwesterner, my given culture is uninspiring, not what I am celebrating. I was fortunate to be born into a time of cultural fusion. I have been remaking culture since old enough to rebel, and I co-create an emergent new culture as everyday practice. In reality, nobody is unrelated to me here and now. I am consciously related to people in my families, local communities, and trans-disciplinary communities, following a constantly varying pulse wave of communications. The expression of thinking in communication and publications reaches through many virtual communities - and shows up in my awareness of hundreds of relationships worldwide which I have yet been unable to honor in person. This is also what I do. How can we really ever know? What are all the things that we “do?” How much of our participation in lives is ever understood as a sense of result? I’m aware of the immediate impact of my design, research, and business work. But I realize I am part of a massive, mysterious interconnectedness of participants that all share a part and role in the impact on the world in which we are all sharing, in an ongoing dialogue of awareness. Can experience ever show up as a whole, or am I / are we usually showing up and connecting through an interest, an outcome, an object of a process? I believe we can aspire to a whole experience, and connect as a total identity here and now with the everyday ,and with the possibilities inherent in all our communities and resources. While I am destined toward my goals, a destination is finding me also. The world of these connections (and my awareness of them) has generated a welcoming future that invites me further forward.

Essentially you are asking who I am. I am a field of possibilities self-directed toward a certain dream in sidereal time. Beyond all the questions, seeking, and results, I am someone who creates time, and lives for the love and creative participation disclosed in that time we’ve created together.
